Making Monologues

Approaches to making a monologue.

Building on the ZENDEH lab Creating Characters, this workshop will explore how you make a monologue for your character.

Working in a group and in pairs this workshop will use improvising techniques to explore and developed an understanding of a characters' monologue. How you can find their voice through character, devising and use of text.

The lab will be using practices and theories developed by Theatre practitioners such as Boal, Barba and Growtowski.

Collaborate

Emergent and Established Theatre Makers, artists and the public are invited to make expressions of interest to be part of ZENDEH Lab.ZENDEH also welcomes expressions of interest from other companies and venues to collaborate with ZENDEH Lab.
