Making Monologues

Approaches to making a monologue.

This workshop explored how you make a monologue for your character.

Working in a group and in pairs this workshop used improvising techniques to explore and developed an understanding of a characters' monologue. How you can find their voice through character, devising and use of text.

The lab used practices and theories developed by Theatre practitioners such as Boal, Barba and Growtowski.
